Good information. I note the average age is 37, but a lot of hot high tech startups don’t want anyone over 30. There’s a lot of wisdom out there from the older crowd… mistakes learned the hard way that young people could benefit from. How bring the two together?

I am trying to learn all I can about social media… How did you put all those “Share & Enjoy” below the Similar Posts lines?
I was a little surprised by the age as well, I was thinking younger. However when I researched it further it made sense…most people who start their own business need the real world/life experience necessary to make it successful that someone fresh out of college just doesn’t have. I agree with you totally that there is a lot the younger crowd could learn from those that have already made the mistakes and learned from them, I can tell you that when I was younger and starting my business, I listened intently to anyone who had been down the path before me!
As for the “Share and Enjoy”…I use the following plugin with wordpress. It’s super easy!

Thanks for the statistics. They look quite interesting. I added some of them to my site and gave a link back to this post so my readers can read your entire article.
