I was lamenting yesterday about how tough economic times doesn't mean that us small business owners fold up shop, or put our head in the sand and hide. In fact my point was quite the opposite. It's time to do more, not less, and capitalize on the opportunities still being presented to us.
The thought was still on my mind this morning when I pinged the Twitterverse to see what their take was. I'm glad to see there are others out there using this downturn as a time to get their businesses mean and lean, and looking for ways to prosper.

Matt,
It’s all a state of mind really. If you think poorly then you will be poor. Our thoughts followed by our actions determine our reality. That’s the way it works online and IRL my friend. Talk to you Monday.

I agree! Unfortunately in times like these we are told how we should think…we are inundated with media telling us that everyone is broke, so of course we act like that is the reality. We need to keep pushing, and moving forward, or we will fall victim to “group think” which basically says we will follow the masses…not a way to get ahead in biz that’s for sure.
