Hey everybody, just a quick note to point you towards today’s blog post…that’s right, you’re going to have to make one more mouse click in order to get to the good stuff.
I had the honor and privilege to guest post over at The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur, on the topic of why your business should be blogging.
Guest Post: If Your Business Isn’t Blogging You’re Missing Out!
There are numerous benefits to having a blog for your business and in the post I go over what I feel are the top 6 reasons you need a blog.
Head on over to The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur to check it out, and if you haven’t been to Mike’s blog before – stay a while and check it out, there is a ton of great stuff there.
Big thanks to Mike Michalowicz, author of The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur , for giving me a few minutes on his blog. Although I would like to think it was because of the glowing review I gave his book on this blog, I feel it has more to do with appeasing my request for royalties.

Matt,
1. Very nice guest post.
2. I didn’t know that “one in three Americans now read a blog at least once a month” and am more than a bit blown away. That really is a stunning number…
3. That blog has an “interesting” name… It’s memorable, but I’m not sure if I would have chosen it or not.

Glad you liked it. Yeah when you think about the numbers it’s stunning, reading blogs has become a big way Americans get their news and opinions.
As for the name, it definitely catches your attention. It fits quite well with the site owner, Mike, seems to be his kind of sense of humor.

hey Matt,
But then again, the AP got the story about a woman swimming across the Atlantic wrong (a minor detail… it was physically impossible in the time she claimed to do it), so who knows where the best place to get news is? ~ Steve, trade show resources
Blogs are a great place to get opinions, but I’m not sure about news…
PS. It did look like Mike has done well, so I won’t second guess his name… I think I’m too stodgy.
@Steve
I might disagree with that, Huffingtonpost.com is a blog – and a fine news site as well. I think there are blogs out there changing the perception that news only comes from the big networks or the WSJ.
As for you being stodgy…I’ve noticed no stodginess on your part, think you’re doing fine there =)
