That’s my favorite tip, Matt! All these tips are great, though–awesome post!

Other than having an ipod I have to say I’m not personally a big fan of apple. I’m a PC man. However I can’t deny that they definitely have established one hell of a brand.

I’m on a PC as we speak, so we’re in the same boat there. But man, everything Apple does seems to turn to gold. They definitely understand the consumer, and more importantly consumer behavior as it relates to *buying*

My favorite is

Never be the First to Market

I’ll bet nobody remembers PeopleClick (i think that’s what it was?) – the precursor to ICQ…..

But after getting a Iphone, I must say i’m impressed. But true Apple is a lot about marketing and personal branding

@Barbara
Great example. Yeah, so often a company who is first to market is only showing the competitors what to do different/better. Of course the flip side is you’re giving them a head start on you so you better be able to take their market share quickly when you do launch.

@Steen
The iPhone is a perfect blend of being cool and functional, something Apple does very well.
