This can also help in cost cutting strategies without cutting back on benefits. High deductibles can also help the employees. You can also ask your insurance provider as to how you can use this plan to cut costs but still provide your employers benefits.
#4 Software License Cut Back
Getting a software license can be quite costly. These licenses are charged by machines. If you buy additional licenses for your business, it can get costlier. Hi.
Not that Cost Cutting is bad, but I just want to mention that it is always better and more efficient to look for ways to increase earnings, not decrease cost
Regards.
Another great way to save some money is to switch your phone systems to a virtual PBX. With a virtual PBX you can get your business calls forwarded to wherever you are, so your location doesn’t matter – allowing you to work from home or a coffee shop and it eliminates the need for office space.
Related to software licensing, small business can also cut costs in IT by looking at virtualization and cloud technologies.
Briefly, these two technologies will give SBs the ability to do and have more stuff for less capital and time spent on managing and troubleshooting their IT network. Hmmm… Why don’t I write a guest post about it?
To help reduce the cost of software licenses, certain software can be replaced by a Cloud-based solution. Cloud software is usually subscription based, so instead of costly licenses upfront, you can spread small recurring costs out over a long period of time.

I agree with mich. Cost cutting isn’t bad but the drive behind it should be to increase profits. In order to cut costs in the long term you may have to invest in your business. For example if your using outdated software you may need to upgrade as although it appears to be doing the job it ultimately is costing your business more time and money than is necessary and is unlikely to be supporting growth, let alone providing you with opportunities to gain competitive advantage.
